I think it was Thomas Jefferson
No, it was not Thomas Jefferson.
JIMMY CARTER?
Hey mom, where did you get that idea? :)
The more I think about it though, I think they would have said Rev. Jimmy Carter and I think being THAT religious even in the 70's would make you hard to elect... so without google-ing I'm taking a stab at Monroe or JQ Adams....I'm going to go with Monre.
sorry Kathy I would have given you credit if it is Carter
I know :)
James Garfield !
there was no predident who was an otdsined minister
Dad is correct. The answer is James Garfield.
According to the official White House website, whitehouse.gov, “James Garfield was the only preacher to ever become president. He was an ordained minister who used his speaking ability to preach and teach.”
I read that Garfield was the only preacher to be elected president
and he hated mondays but loved lasagna
I finally got it! Garfield. The Cat. LOL. I thought you were doing a Fannie Dooley thing.
yes my humor tends to sneak up on ya doesn't it? (or be too obscure to be funny...hmmm)
okay here's a President Garfield Fanny Dooley for you:
He was assassinatied but not murdered...how can that be?
