I live above a star, and yet I never burn,
I have eleven neighbors, and yet none of them turn,
I am visited in sequence, first, last or in between,
PRS are my initials,
Now, tell me what I mean.

Movie Monday

I saw the movie 21 this weekend. I was really looking forward to it and it did not disappoint. The screenplay is based upon the book "Bringing Down the House" which I am now interested in reading. The story is about a college student who becomes recruited by a professor to join his "group" of other students who are card counters in black jack. They make weekend trips to Vegas and do well, until a few mishaps throws things for a loop.

The acting was fine and Kevin Spacey highly entertaining. Sure the plot had it holes, the continuity of all things Vegas wasn't always what it should be. But if you are looking for a fun, non-complicated mindless distraction, this is a good one.
