Each year I try to see all five of the Oscar nominated movies. It was a bit last minute, but I finally saw them all. Here are some quick reviews of those I have not done on this blog yet.
MICHAEL CLAYTON

It was slow in the middle, but packed a good punch at the end. George Clooney is one of my favorites, so having him on-screen most of the time didn't hurt.
ATONEMENT

The movie took place in England in the thirties. The story was about how lives were changed by the misunderstandings of a little girl and the sadness of love and war. bit dragged out, very soap opera like. Had a decent story but was a bit depressing. It wasn't as boring as the previews presented itself to be.

Here is the order that I like the movies in:
1. Juno
2. Michael Clayton
3. No Country for Old Men
4. Atonement
5. There Will Be Blood
