The LAST RIDDLE......of the year!
What book was once owned by only the wealthy,
but now everyone can have it?
You can't buy it in a bookstore or take it from the library.
but now everyone can have it?
You can't buy it in a bookstore or take it from the library.

Oh holy night!
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of the dear Savior's birth!
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!
Fall on your knees
Oh hear the angel voices
Oh night divine
Oh night when Christ was born
Oh night divine
Oh night divine
The owners and staff of the Lo-down wish you and yours a very joyous and blessed Christmas.

Movie Review
THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL could have been a good movie, but, it wasn't. Like the original version it had an interesting premise, of an alien in a human form coming to earth with the power to destroy all people. I like Sci-Fi movies, but they need to be smart.
If only the person writing the script would have allowed the characters to have a bit of intelligence and would have thought the plot through it could have worked. But it was all over the place, and boring at times. I did stay awake,(no Z's) but I found my mind wondering and kept thinking about the Chinese dinner that awaited me at after the movie. I wanted to like it, but it failed me.

Shall We Riddle?
Kings and queens may cling to power
and the jester's got his call.
But, as you may all discover,
the common one outranks them all.
What is it?
and the jester's got his call.
But, as you may all discover,
the common one outranks them all.
What is it?

flyin' over sea and land, dyin' in my hand.
What is it?
flyin' over sea and land, dyin' in my hand.
What is it?
